Just returned from a fabulous time at an international women’s weekend north of Tokyo. There were over 50 women there from the US, Japan, Canada, England, Scotland, Finland, Israel, the Philippines, South Africa, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Germany. Went to photography & creative writing workshops, got a massage, did a lot of cooking, made many new friends, played drinking games, and got very little sleep. Spent little time thinking and talking about war -- and most women there were against war anyway. Just what I needed. More later... gotta catch up on that sleep.
